English Hedonist and artist Bob Osborne was born in West London and studied literature at the University of East Anglia. In the 1970s he travelled around the Mediterranean and Greek Islands writing poetry.
 
He worked as a fruit picker and laboured on building sites and pursued adventures anywhere. In the 1990s he enjoyed a career as a wine taster in London, Australia and South Africa. A free spirit he has always made art in a variety of mediums His constructions and collages are imbued with the sensual textures of natures and the random wit of surrealism.
He worked for several years in St Ives and enjoyed artistic friendships with Sanda Blow and Bob Crossley.
